A “second generation” Mohtasham scatter with a shapely “bookcover” design incorporating a shaped ecru field, conjoint conforming navy corners, and a bold pointed quatrefoil medallion with sharp pendants. Sprays of florets are the dominant decoration. Navy border with palmettes in partial wreaths. Cotton ground weave, fine knotting. Merino wool and English spinning, resulting in a velvety surface texture.
