DESCRIPTION

Birds perch in the cusped navy medallion and in the straw-gold sub-medallion with a vase and “tree of life'' design. More birds appear in the ecru ivory field among the dense foliate. Still more birds in the navy corners. Navy main border with delicate flowers. Very wide natural dye palate including: light blue, pink, rose, green, pistachio and medium blue. Cotton foundation, well-woven. They don' t make carpets like this one in Kerman today.
