DESCRIPTION

The pattern collage border mixes fringed triangles, lozenge chains, "zippers" and squared lollipops, while framing a field banded in panels of fringed chevrons, ashiks, stepped diamonds and rectangles with dash patterns. Multiple techniques with both knotted pile, supplementary wefts and plain weave. In shades of beige, dark brown, goldenrod and sand. All wool construction. Ends need stopping. Light wear to some of the small motives. Tribal piece.
