DESCRIPTION
A village scatter in a Hamadan weave style, but made closer to the Malayer district, this attractive piece shows a cream open field centred by a tall navy medallion with a big boteh infill. Lightning flash medallion edges are matched in the elongated navy corner pieces with small flowr repeating patterns. Cotton foundation, medium weave. Good condition. Ivory ground Mazlagans are quite rare.
