Three levels of arabesques, the primary one in green, decorate the ecru field. The tall navy medallion shows pendants incorporating volutes. Navy border with palmettes and a light teal forked meander. A relatively early "Mohtasham" long scatter from central Persia. Natural dyes and handspun materials. Velvety pile. Fine weave, cotton foundation. Good condition.
