Antique Qashqai Rug 4'10'' x 6'. Probably Maizidi sub-tribe in SW Persia, the ecru field shows stems, polychrome flowers and rosettes, and supports a pendanted navy medallion with a central petal rosette radiating petal palmettes. Three narrow borders with rosettes, stems and buds. A very attractive, genuine rustic scatter. A rare type and attribution. All wool construction, medium/moderate weave. Good condition.
