The secondary grade and type of carpets, usually with allover patterns, from the Sarouk/Arak district. Type is an offshoot of Sultanabad's. Generally natural dyes, cotton foundations, knots. Room to mansion sizes, scatters and runners. No prayer rugs. An export type; from about 1900 onwards. Coarse to moderate weave.
