Mehriban is in the Heriz weaving district. This characteristic village example show a red field with various styles of bitonal leaves: saw toothed, fringed, bent, volute, attached and free, all around a central pole anchored by palmettes and a focal light blue rosettes. Navy turtle border with a few charming anomalies. Medium-coarse weave, cotton foundation. Good condition.
