This southern Russian slit tapestry technique flatware shows three identical polychrome flower modules featuring roses, other blossoms, buds, stems and leaves. Border of repeating rose bouquets. The black field makes for dramatic contrasts. Accents overall in yellows, pinks and reds. Moderate wool wefted weave. Good condition.
