Look Turkish, but actually a masquerading vintage Caucasian with a red field with barbed sickle leaf corners around a cream hooked hexagonal sub-field with sinekli (flyspot) decoration and a hexagonal pale blue central medallion. Narrow rosette panels at field ends. Ivory zig-zag band and hooked red triangle border. Cotton foundation with a medium weave. A good interpretation of an ultra-classic antique Turkish rug in a larger size.
