In a transitional style, the red field shows a scatter of palmettes, stems, carnations, slender botehs. leaf and floret stems, in a 1920's "American Sarouk" style. Navy main border in the Farahan-Sarouk 1900 manner with rosettes alternating with octogrammes. An attractive remake of an earlier genre. Well-woven. Good condition.
