Antique Sarouk Rug 1'8'' x 2'6''
A central petal rosette develops palmettes while four tall complete upright stems grow bellflowers, all on the scarlet ground. Navy border with rosettes and little sickle leaves. Nice green and abrashed light blue. Well-woven, even weave, on cotton. Good condition. 1920's.
