DESCRIPTION

In a European needlework carpet or Bessarabian flat-weave, this moderately well-woven square rug shows a dark red field with a two by four array of round rose bouquets with diamond-shaped smaller bouquets along the centre line and halved coming in from the borders. Chocolate main border with roses, daisies and barbed lancet leaves. Cotton foundation. New condition.
