DESCRIPTION
This vintage scatter combines the “American Sarouk'' protocols of a red field decorated with floating floral sprays with an ecru volute-filled medallion and a larger, circumferential volute acanthus outline. Cerulean and salmon corners.  Near black border with reversed palmettes. Leathery texture and well-woven. Village rug with urban pretensions. Good condition.
