DESCRIPTION

This tribal Berber long flat weave shows a supplementary weft patterned striped décor of wide bands enclosing X's and partially serrated triangles, with narrower stripes showing chevrons, lattices, and X's. Main central ecru panel with a delicate flattened triangle mosaic lozenge and conforming filler pattern. Generally cream, but with details in black, red, rust, straw and orange. Wool warp, with end finish partially unraveling. Good condition.
