Turkish Rug 3'4'' x 5'8''
The sandy cream field shows a modified Turkmen allover design of aina guls and chemche guls, in five offset columns, detailed in red, green, buff and ivory. The sienna border features fat stepped leaves alternating with four petal rosettes. Turkmen designs have been borrowed and repurposed throughout the rug universe. Generally good condition, with very slight end reduction.
