The nearly circular tangerine-rust medallion with shallow lobes and points encloses eight radiating palmettes, and is centrally set on a navy field decorated with arabesque vinery anchored by more palmettes and accented with curled leaves. Triangular, divided peach corners. Apricot-tangerine border with reversing oval and petal palmettes. Short-shorn pile, fine weave on cotton foundation, velvety texture. As new condition.
